## **NetEnt enters the bean business with Jack and the Beanstalk 2**

Jack has climbed the beanstalk. Now he’s climbing the corporate ladder.

Jack is all grown up, but the grind never stops. In a high-stakes, bean-dominated world run by his ruthless boss, **Goaty Mc Goatface**, Jack must trade magic beans for crypto gains. Forget giant-slaying, the only thing that matters now is driving shareholder value. It’s time to clock in, pump the portfolio, and hustle your way to the moon!

![jack_and_the_beanstalk_2_1920x1080_horizontal.png](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/jack_and_the_beanstalk_2_1920x1080_horizontal_a5bed71b7a.png)

In **[Jack and the Beanstalk 2™ GOAT Enterprise](https://netent.com/games/jack-and-the-beanstalk-2)**, [NetEnt](https://netent.com/) brings Jack into a high stakes, bean dominated corporate world . Built on a 5x5 reel layout, the latest sequel of the classic **Jack and the Beanstalk** switches out the fantasy vibe for the corporate grind with a max win potential of 20,000x.

### **Walking Wild Re-Spins**
What grows faster, the beanstalk or these Wild stacks? Walking Wilds can land on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5 as single symbols or stacks of 2, 3, 4 or 5 Wilds, depending on their Wild Level.

![Jack and the Beanstalk 2 Screenshot 06.png](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/Jack_and_the_Beanstalk_2_Screenshot_06_d84d1b4cd9.png)

Each Wild stack carries a 3x multiplier and activates a Re-Spin that moves it one reel to the left. The Re-Spins keep going till all wilds walk right off the reels!

**Mystery Wilds** can be activated randomly at the start of the initial spin. When activated, a random Wild Level between 2 and 5 is selected, allowing Wilds to land on the reels.

![Jack and the Beanstalk 2 Screenshot 05.png](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/Jack_and_the_Beanstalk_2_Screenshot_05_204307326b.png)

### **Bonus Spins**
Who need a stock market when the bean market is ripe for the picking? Three Bonus symbols collected during the main game activate 5 Bonus Spins with Super Bonus being triggered if one is a Super Bonus symbol.

During Bonus Spins only special symbols can appear:

• **Golden Bean Coins** – multiplier values of 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x or 10x.

• **Walking Rockets** – activate Re-Spins and move one reel to the left until they leave the reels. Rockets multiply the coins they land on by 3x.

• **Battery Upgrades** - collected in the Battery Upgrade Meter to upgrade rockets from stacks of 2 all the way up to stacks 5.

• **HODL Collector** - Collects the values of all Golden Beans on the reels and leaves a Golden Bean in its position with the combined value.

• **Stocks Sharer** -Adds a 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x or 10x multiplier to all Golden Beans on the reels.

• **Card Spreaders** - Can create 1 to 8 Golden Bean Coins in empty adjacent positions while also leaving a Golden Bean Coin in its own position.

![Jack and the Beanstalk 2 Screenshot 11.png](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/Jack_and_the_Beanstalk_2_Screenshot_11_abf32ec52f.png)

Every Bonus starts with **3 Golden Bean Coins** appear anywhere on the reels. Super Bonus Spins take the Bonus mechanics up another level. All **Walking Rockets** are 5 symbols stacked, while **3 Golden Bean Coins** land at the start with one guaranteed to carry a 10x multiplier.

![Jack and the Beanstalk 2 Screenshot 24.png](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/Jack_and_the_Beanstalk_2_Screenshot_24_3e179b35c2.png)

Jack and the Beanstalk 2 - NOW LIVE!

# Young farmer changes life to become Crypto Billionaire with new Bean Coin

From scaling beanstalks to climbing the highest corporate ladders. We finally managed to secure a coveted interview with Jack, one of the biggest disrupters on the scene that’s making Wall Street look like chump change. As Chief Crypto Officer at GOAT Enterprises he has ambitions to bring the entire crypto world AD LUNAM!

![jack_and_the_beanstalk_2_gameart_2026_11 Small.png](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/jack_and_the_beanstalk_2_gameart_2026_11_Small_5f24f5ff91.png)

“_The inspiration really started with some magic beans_,” said Jack as we sat in his office somewhere above the clouds. “_As I was hanging on to those vines, I thought: What could this teach me about optimisation in the Web3 sphere to reach true omnichannel synergy? And that’s when I realised my true calling was not farming, but finance._”

I asked him for some tips on what keeps him grounded in today’s volatile finance climate. “_The trick is to not boil the ocean. Once you circle back and really get your ducks in a row, then there’s really no resource you can’t leverage. It’s all about keeping it simple, not re-inventing the wheel, and making sure our work works for us_.”

![jack_and_the_beanstalk_2_gameart_2026_19 Small.png](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/jack_and_the_beanstalk_2_gameart_2026_19_Small_0e16b67cdb.png)

But this was just the start of his inspirational story. It wasn’t until he found a place in **GOAT enterprises** that he truly started to reach his potential. “_**Goatie Mc Goatface** was the most influential figure in my career. His insights on the bean market are unmatched. While he made me climb up the ranks, I managed to go from cleaning his office to where I am today,_” said Jack.

I got the chance to speak to the goat himself about the momentous climb. “_Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah- sic economics is what it really comes down to at the end of the day. If we make the bean scarce enough, then the demand rockets, and we get wild returns of at least x3 every time._”

![bean_coin_216x320_horizontal 2.png](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/bean_coin_216x320_horizontal_2_985a14a91f.png)

Perhaps it’s because these two have such a magical background that their aspirations were always so out of this world. “_We knew this world wouldn’t be enough to contain the profits we had projected,_” said Jack. “_That’s where **BEAN Coin** came in, and through it we’re able to go above the stock market, wall street, all the way up to the moon, and absolutely nothing can hold us back._”

What’s next for this crazy duo? They claimed that information was strictly confidential and had security escort me out under suspicion of corporate espionage.

![jack_and_the_beanstalk_2_gameart_2026_14 Small.png](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/jack_and_the_beanstalk_2_gameart_2026_14_Small_7dba93787b.png)

**You can catch them in [**Jack and the Beanstalk 2: GOAT enterprises**](https://netent.com/games/jack-and-the-beanstalk-2) and try your luck at reaching their level.**

The digital system turned on us, but this makeshift crew is taking the wasteland back in the [Aftermath](https://netent.com/games/aftermath). The latest action-packed slot from [NetEnt](https://netent.com/) drops you right in the middle of the fight with an electrified **6x4 grid that can grow to 8x4**.

## Multipliers

The only clanker we trust is the multiplier generator! Every win triggers an **Avalanche**, removing winning combinations to let new symbols fall into place, while **increasing the round win multiplier by +1**, going all the way up to x300+. The multiplier generator resets with each new spin in the base game but keeps growing during free spins.

![Aftermath_Desktop22.png](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/Aftermath_Desktop22_83240e43ab.png)

## Post-Apocalyptic Features

The apocalyptic battlefield is packed with game changing modifiers:

• **Bomb**: Explodes symbols in surrounding positions, doubles the active win multiplier, and expands the grid when hitting outer walls.
• **Purge**: Removes low and medium pay symbols and all wall portions turning the grid into a massive 6 reels and 8 rows, triggering fresh Avalanches.
• **Upgrade**: Transforms itself and low pay symbols into the highest paying symbols on the reels.
• **Change**: Swaps the 8 surrounding symbols into matching pay symbols.

![Aftermath_Desktop13.png](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/Aftermath_Desktop13_78c4d059a6.png)

## Bonus Spins

Get ready for battle! Landing **3, 4, or 5 Scatter symbols awards 8, 10, or 12 Bonus Spins**, where grid expansions and multipliers remain persistent between spins. **Special Multiplier Wilds** drop in with a **+2 multiplier boost** to keep payouts scaling up!

![Aftermath_Desktop2.png](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/Aftermath_Desktop2_d6908c8f44.png)

## Super Bonus Spins

Whose fired now? Landing a Super Scatter unlocks Super Bonus Spins, **guaranteeing a Special Multiplier Wild** on every single spin with random **multiplier values ranging from +3x to +10x**! Combined with persistent grid growth and progressive multipliers, players can fight their way toward maximum wins of up to 25,000x the bet.

![Aftermath_Desktop11.png](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/Aftermath_Desktop11_dd68662cda.png)

## Elevate

Need a jump charge? Five Elevate options can give your office weapon an extra edge:

• **Scatter Hunt**: More than 7 times more likely to enter Bonus Spins or Super Bonus Spins.
• **Feature Hunt**: At least one Special Feature is guaranteed to activate in the spin.
• **Power Boost**: Start the spin with a random multiplier value between x5 and x10.
• **Bonus Spins**: At least 3 Scatter Symbols are guaranteed to land on the reels, activating Bonus Spins.
• **Aftermath Spins**: At least 3 Scatter Symbols, including a Super Scatter, are guaranteed to land on the reels, activating Super Bonus Spins.

NetEnt Q&A with BigWinBoard - William

# Behind the Scenes with Eleni

As part of NetEnt's 30 Year anniversary we're jumping behind the scenes with some of the people who have made [NetEnt](https://netent.com/) what it is today. From sound design to artists, to the people spearheading the products, from the golden ages to the ones bringing on the next chapter.

Today we're having a chat with Eleni, Lead Animator, who has been with NetEnt for 10 years in both the Stockholm and Gothenburg, and is behind the animation of some amazing characters.
![eleni old photo.png](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/eleni_old_photo_f57c158499.png)

**Who is someone from your early days at NetEnt who genuinely changed the trajectory of your career or helped shape who you are today?**

If I had to choose one person, it would definitely be Matt Butler!

When I asked to make the switch from being a programmer to becoming an artist, he gave me the opportunity to join his art team and really took me under his wing. He taught me so much and, even though he has always been very demanding when it comes to the quality of the artwork (as he should be!), he was also incredibly patient with me and invested a lot of time in helping me learn.

![WCTH7565.JPG](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/WCTH_7565_f9202bab60.JPG)

What I appreciated most was that he trusted me enough to let me try things, make mistakes, learn, and challenge myself. That opportunity completely changed the direction of my career. I went from being a developer who wanted to become an artist to eventually becoming Lead Animator at NetEnt, so I will always be grateful that he gave me that chance.

**Walk us through your animation process, where does it start, and where do you say this is ready for the world?**

For me, animation actually starts before you animate anything.

First you need to understand the game: what is happening, why it is happening, what the player needs to understand, and how you can present a feature in a way that feels clear, fun and exciting. That’s usually when the ideas start coming.

Then I make quick animations or rough tests just to see if the idea actually works in motion. You try it, get feedback, change the timing, exaggerate something, add effects, remove things, or sometimes throw away the whole idea because you suddenly come up with something much better. Then you put it into the game, see how it feels in context, and once the direction works, you start polishing it properly and adding all those little details that bring it to life.

![eleni concept.png](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/eleni_concept_88ca78bf7c.png)

As for when an artist decides something is ready for the world... never! There is always one more thing you could improve.

At some point you just have to let it go. For me, a good sign is seeing someone else’s reaction. If I made something funny and somebody laughs when they see it, I’m happy. If they’re surprised, impressed or simply enjoy watching it, then I feel like I’ve done my job.

**Who is your art inspiration?**

I don’t think I have one specific person who inspires me. Sometimes inspiration comes from a really good movie or animated film, I love good storytelling and characters with personality.

But strangely enough, I think I get most inspired when I’m not sitting in front of my computer trying to be creative.

Travelling is probably my biggest source of inspiration. Being somewhere completely different from my normal routine, exploring another culture, seeing its architecture, landscapes, traditions, history and art makes my brain work differently. You notice new shapes, colours, personalities and little details, and somehow those experiences always find their way back into your work later.

![eleni painting.png](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/Screenshot_2026_08_13_at_15_40_02_9418bea1a9.png)

**What’s your favourite animated movie?**

It has always been The Little Mermaid!

I think part of the reason is that I have loved the sea since I was a little kid. I grew up on an island with our house close to the beach, so I was constantly in the water, exploring and pretending I was a mermaid.

Apparently that part of me never really disappeared, because I still spend as much of my summers as possible swimming, snorkelling and free-diving. So yes... The Little Mermaid was probably inevitable.

![little mermaid eleni.webp](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/little_mermaid_eleni_17128955fc.webp)

**What is the easter egg that took the most effort to animate, just to be a hidden bonus for the players?**

One that immediately comes to mind is Gonzo in [Superstars](https://netent.com/games/superstars).

Most of our character animation is 2D, but for this one I was animating Gonzo in 3D and made a fairly complicated sequence where he rolls, jumps around and fights a golden Aztec treasure chest with his sword.

It took me so much time to make, including recording myself rolling around and pretending to sword-fight so I could use it as animation reference. And after all of that, I think the sequence is quite difficult to trigger, so many players probably never even saw it!

![gonzo eleni.png](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/gonzo_eleni_bccd0c5552.png)

There was also a little Finn animation hidden in the bonus background where he runs around the buildings and disappears again. That took quite a bit of work too for something that is very easy to miss.

That’s the funny thing about game animation: sometimes you spend days making something that a player might see for three seconds... or never see at all. :joy:

![finn eleni.png](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/finn_eleni_e8da7ecc05.png)

**Which is your favourite NetEnt game?**

This is a very unfair question after almost ten years. I have a few favourites for completely different reasons.

I will probably always have a soft spot for Superstars. It was one of the rare projects where almost the whole studio worked together on the same game, and we had a lot of freedom to experiment, try new techniques and come up with ideas. I was also trusted with animating Gonzo in 3D and designing his features, which was a big opportunity for me at that point in my career.

I also loved working on [Jumanji](https://netent.com/games/jumanji). It was such an ambitious game, especially for a slot, with so many ideas and features. It was complicated, but I tend to enjoy projects that make me think, “Okay... how are we actually going to make this work?“

More recently, [Monopoly Money Line](https://netent.com/games/monopoly-money-line) was another favourite. Working with Mr. Monopoly was a really fun challenge because everybody knows that character. You have to respect his personality and keep him instantly recognizable, while still finding ways to make him funny, expressive and fit naturally into our game. I also got to work on the 3D environment and help build the world around him, which I really enjoyed.

And I have to mention [Gonzo’s Quest II: Return to El Dorado](https://netent.com/games/gonzo-s-quest-ii-return-to-el-dorado) as well. The original Gonzo’s Quest was actually one of my favourite NetEnt games when I first joined the company, so years later getting the opportunity to work on a new version of Gonzo and contribute ideas to his next adventure felt very special.

So... apparently I cannot choose just one.

![top games ne eleni.png](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/top_games_ne_eleni_d3bfca5773.png)

**Which animation was most fun and experimental to work on which you still look back on with love?**

Definitely the dogs from [Buster’s Bones](https://netent.com/games/busters-bones)!

At the time, I was experimenting a lot with how far I could push a 2D character so that the movement and facial animation almost felt three-dimensional. Buster’s Bones was the perfect playground for that because the characters were these wonderfully designed, ridiculous dogs with completely different personalities.
![busters_bones_eleni.png](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/busters_bones_eleni_25627bffd0.png)

I could really exaggerate their faces, expressions and reactions and make them as silly as possible. Because the art style was so cartoony and playful, I had a lot of freedom to experiment.

The funny thing is that some of the techniques I learned while animating those dogs are techniques I still use today when I’m working with 2D character faces. So whenever I use them, somewhere in the back of my mind I still think about those crazy dogs.

![busters bones 2 eleni.png](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/busters_bones_2_eleni_7b73a94c42.png)

**What is a skill or piece of wisdom you picked up along the way that you would give to someone starting at NetEnt on day one?**

Hmm... I would probably say: don’t be afraid to talk to people and don’t be afraid to say you don’t know something.

When you start somewhere new, it’s very easy to think you’re supposed to already know everything. So instead of asking, you sit there trying to figure something out alone, getting stressed and wasting three hours on something somebody next to you could have explained in ten minutes.

**_Just ask._**

I’ve learned so much throughout my career simply by talking to people who knew something I didn’t. Most people are genuinely happy to help, and you learn much faster when you allow yourself to ask questions and listen to people with more experience.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with saying, “I don’t know how to do this yet, but I want to learn.” In fact, I think that’s one of the best attitudes you can have.

Get ready to step into the spotlight, because the ultimate talent show madness is about to begin. Every contestant thinks they have what it takes to impress the panel, but standing in front of five harsh critics with live cameras rolling is a whole different story.

[NetEnt](https://netent.com/) is taking us straight into the heart of stage theatrics with [Judgemental](https://netent.com/games/judgemental), setting wild acts loose across a 5x4 grid with 1,024 ways to win, high volatility, and a massive 15,000x max win.

Will you perform under pressure and steal the spotlight, or will the judges cut your time short?

![judgemental_out_now_1920x1080_01.png](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/judgemental_out_now_1920x1080_01_8910aed7d9.png)

## **Judges & Multipliers**
At the top of each reel, five tough critics hold the key to your stardom. Each Judge carries a multiplier ranging from x2 up to x100 or a Re-Spin sign.

**Judges Feature**: Landing a Judge! symbol activates the Judge on that specific reel. If a Super Judge! symbol hits, all five Judges wake up at once! When multiple active Judges hold multipliers, their values sum up into a single global multiplier applied to your total win.
**Bribe Feature**: Can’t win them over with talent? Try a little persuasion. Bribe symbols land on reels with active multiplier Judges to bump up their values by +1, +2, or +3.
**VIP Pass**: Landing 2 Bonus symbols activates the VIP Pass, where the Judges may award Free Spins or invite you directly to Super Free Spins if landing 1 Bonus + 1 Super Bonus.

![Judgemental_Desktop_Screenshot_11.jpg.jpg](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/Judgemental_Desktop_Screenshot_11_jpg_bd9e873352.jpg)

## **Stage Mechanics**
The judges aren’t the only one calling the shots! The audience has a lot to say about the performance.

**Applause Feature**: When the crowd erupts, Wild symbols drop from the bottom row upwards. If a reel gets completely filled with Wilds, the Judge on top automatically activates.
**Tomato Feature**: Not every act goes as planned! When a performance flops, Tomatoes splatter across the reels, sliding down to replace symbols with matching high win symbols. Up to 3 symbols can be replaced per position along the splatter trail, with possible fresh Bonus or Judge! symbols waiting at the bottom.
**Sticky Re Spins**: Land a Judge! symbol under a Judge holding a Re Spin sign to trigger Re Spins. The most frequent symbol locks in place, keeping the momentum rolling while Judges hold their multipliers through the feature.

![Judgemental_Desktop_Screenshot_4.jpg.jpg](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/Judgemental_Desktop_Screenshot_4_jpg_be50c2fbb4.jpg)

## **Free Spins and Super Free Spins**
There’s nothing like the excitement for the finals! Landing 3 Bonus symbols grants 8 Free Spins, while landing 2 Bonus symbols alongside 1 Super Bonus symbol triggers 8 Super Free Spins.

**Persistent Multipliers**: Any Judges activated in the main game or during Free Spins stay active until the end of the feature, accumulating multipliers spin after spin.
**Extra Spins**: During Free Spins, active Judges can show signs awarding +1, +2, or +3 extra Free Spins.
**Super Free Spins**: All 5 Judges start fully active from the very first spin, pushing the stage drama to maximum intensity!

![Judgemental_Desktop_Screenshot_3.jpg.jpg](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/Judgemental_Desktop_Screenshot_3_jpg_b764bc9cbb.jpg)

## **Elevate Feature**
Want to skip the audition? Five Elevate options get you straight onto the stage:

**Bonus Hunt**: 2x the bet to increase the chance of activating Bonus Spins.
**Judge**: Guaranteed activation of 1 Judge (3x bet), 3 Judges (10x bet), or a Super Judge! (50x bet).
**Crowd Feature Pack**: 25x the bet to activate the Tomato feature or the Applause feature in the next spin.
**Free Spins**: 100x the bet to activate Free Spins.
**Super Free Spins**: 500x the bet to activate Super Free Spins.

## **The Ultimate Ovation**
The stage lights are blinding, the panel is seated, and the crowd is on their feet. Whether you bribe your way to the top, dodge flying tomatoes, or score the ultimate standing ovation, Judgemental delivers high stakes entertainment with payout potential up to 15,000x your bet.

Step onto the stage today and see if you have what it takes to win over the judges!

Judgemental - NOW LIVE!

Forget slow and steady, because Lenny and Rafa do not do slow and steady. These tough turtles are living it up with sports cars, VIP parties, and some seriously spicy extracurricular activities. They have a massive taste for the finer things in life, a knack for wild midnight stunts, and a strict rule: never get high on your own supply.

Lenny treats every win like a dare, looking you dead in the eye, eating a whole chilli, and taking your chips before you can react.

Rafa is the cool contrast in a custom tailored white suit, ready to out negotiate you before organizing his private spice stash strictly by Scoville unit.

Together, they are turning the city upside down. [NetEnt](https://netent.com/)’s [SPICE](https://playin.com/games/spice) drops us into a high octane heist on a 6x6 grid with up to 15,625 ways to win, cascading Avalanches, and non resetting multipliers.

![spice_out_now_1920x1080_01.png](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/spice_out_now_1920x1080_01_596004c929.png)

## Avalanche™ Feature
Once the crew lands a hit, there is no stopping the momentum. Winning combinations trigger an Avalanche™ where winning symbols vanish, making room for a fresh drop of symbols and highlighted positions from above.

Every win on the exact same position upgrades the multiplier on that spot, starting at x2 and doubling every time it hits in the same cascade. Payouts combine the total sum of multipliers across all winning positions.

![spice_screenshot_desktop_20.jpg](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/spice_screenshot_desktop_20_ffb3f12f64.jpg)

## Feature Lane
Keep your eyes glued to the top rail where the syndicate drops in their heavy machinery. When an Avalanche pauses, special features fall straight into the play area:
- **The Bomb**: Clears its position and adjacent symbols in a 3x3 square while doubling all position multipliers in that area.
- **Row Converter**: Transforms all eligible symbols across an entire horizontal row into the exact same matching symbol.
- **9 Square Converter**: Transforms a 3x3 block of symbols into a single matching regular symbol.
- **Random Wilds**: Converts a selection of regular symbols directly into Wilds.
- **Locked Wilds**: Anchors Wild symbols in place through subsequent Avalanches to keep consecutive wins rolling.

![spice_screenshot_desktop_13.jpg](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/spice_screenshot_desktop_13_9087d339de.jpg)

## Free Spins and Super Free Spins
When the alarms blare, that is when the real heat turns up. **Landing 3, 4, 5, or 6 Scatter symbols awards 5, 8, 10, or 12 Free Spins** respectively.

Position multipliers gained during **Avalanches do not reset between spins** in Bonus modes, carrying forward through the entire feature. Landing a +3 symbol adds 3 extra spins, while a Golden +3 symbol adds 3 spins and upgrades standard Free Spins to Super status.

# Behind the Scenes with Joel

As part of NetEnt's 30 Year anniversary we're jumping behind the scenes with some of the people who have made [NetEnt](https://netent.com/) what it is today. From sound design to artists, to the people spearheading the products, from the golden ages to the ones bringing on the next chapter.

Today we're having a chat with Joel, Sound Design Lead, who has been with NetEnt for 10 years and is behind some of the iconic game soundtracks.

![Joel-Portrait.jpg](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/Joel_Portrait_3d54fb72d5.jpg)

**How long have you been with NetEnt? Was there anything that you still remember from your first day?**

10 years ago, I remember the first impression of the packed and simple office space that we had in Gothenburg at the time. The people were heartfully welcoming a newcomer and they put me in one of the closets to create music and sounds.

The team gathered up in the small recording space to sing choirs for the game [Wild Wild West](https://netent.com/games/wild-wild-west-the-great-train-heist) which was my first game music assignment.

![wild_wild_west_12_extra_portrait_logo.jpg](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/wild_wild_west_12_extra_portrait_logo_4ecdbab3c3.jpg)

**Whose your favourite artist?**

Björks first album _Debut_ which I put in my CD-rom drive while playing _Descent_ on my 386 PC made some strong impressions. I'm more a fan of selected songs than of artists. I like it both when a song has lyrics in focus or are just danceable. All from oldies, modern pop, film scores or techno without vocals.

![bjork cd.png](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/bjork_cd_d1b12ac74a.png)

**Which is your own favourite NetEnt slot?**

On the RNG side I'd say [Divine Fortune](https://netent.com/games/divine-fortune). The music combined with the ancient Greek pictures feels like revealing a hidden story and I imagine those tracks would suit in a real symphonic orchestra. I lost count of games that I've composed for over 10 years. All from pop with French vocals to banjo country boot stomp.

The wide range of genres has been both challenging and fun.

![divine_fortune_05_extra_fs_splash.jpg](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/divine_fortune_05_extra_fs_splash_c495c3acf8.jpg)

**Which soundtrack changed your life?**

An early game music gem is _Metroid_ for the NES composed by Hirokazu Tanaka. Painting in much more story and feel to the game than the pictures alone. With a limited sound chip, it's all about music in note form. No hiding behind good sounds.

_Chrono Trigger_ (SNES) was my first fantasy music encounter. For film music, how John Williams were able to infuse the feel of ancient wisdom in Yoda's Theme is mind boggling. Danny Elfman’s _Batman_ is cool and Alan Silvestri's _Back to the Future_ is timeless.

![joel_soundtrack_inspo.png](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/joel_soundtrack_inspo_07b3e67b20.png)

**What’s a tradition that you have in the team which you always look forward to?**

The weekly meetings with the whole sound team is a blast you don't want to miss. We discuss projects, share our music and sounds and dive down into implementation. We're also collaborating to improve our in-house sound engine ECAS. Plus, we have lots of fun together.

![hejhopp.png](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/hejhopp_28ce0fddea.png)

**What made you want to pursue music?**

I had a good hearing by the piano as a kid and my parents kept supporting the music direction. They played records of E.L.O, [Black Sabbath](https://netent.com/games/ozzy-osbourne) and Dylan in the home and I was in my room making tracker music on the Amiga 500. In my late teens I seriously wanted to pursue music and got my first commissions in commercials and game music. I rented some studio space and for 10 years basically all the people I hung around with were into music or records.

There were collaborations, songwriting, and lots of clubbing. Besides commissioned work I made pop house, wrote music for Arashi, a Japanese boy band, released electronic funk as JOL and was part of shaping an electronic music community called Gonkyburg. Later the pop duo [The Similou](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FnjQ62pAJWQ&list=RDFnjQ62pAJWQ&start_radio=1) was formed and we had a radio hit called 'All this love'.
![joel_similou.png](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/joel_similou_5adb16db38.png)

**Which game soundtrack do you consider to be your greatest achievement?**

Battlefield 1942. I wrote the soundtrack back in 2001 and it has kept on living to this day. The music became a trademark for the franchise and keeps appearing in the sequels. The Battlefield Theme (or Vehicle IV as it originally was titled) has been played by orchestras from all corners of the world. I plan to attend an upcoming concert in Vienna later in 2027. It excites me that a song can live its own life, out of my control.

![battlefield 1942.jpeg](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/battlefield_1942_4f5e191f3a.jpeg)

**What’s your process? Walk us through what inspires you and how you give life to a game through sound?**

I often begin by playing the keys. Trying to find something small and simple to catch on to that sets the right mode. I know if an idea or melody is musically solid which makes me kind of fearless. I don't think that I always hit the exact same vision of a game producer but could get away with it if the music sounds authentic.

I'm working in a studio designed around my own production flow. Several mics in the room to be able to add live piano, guitars, vocals, slam on drums or toot in a melodica. Creating a song is to build something, just like a lego house. It's fun figuring out where to put the pieces. I wish to blow people's minds. It adds fuel to the fire. To try and make something prettier than what they imagined.

![IMG_0514.jpg](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/IMG_0514_519ffe028b.jpg)

[NetEnt](https://netent.com/)’s latest serves up a vibrant 5x3 setup that can expand all the way up to a massive 5x6 grid. Packed with a Flavor Meter, Jumper Wilds, and multiple Bonus Spin modes, this is one re-opening that’s sure to hit the sweet spot.

**Re-Spins**

Once the fruits start rolling, the wins keep flowing! During the main game and Re-Spins, landing any winning combination of fruit symbols triggers instant Re-Spins to keep the action moving. You will score **1 extra spin** for hitting **2 or 3 cherries**, **2 extra spins** for **4 cherries**, and a massive **5 extra spins** for a **5-of-a-kind cherry win**, while all other fruit symbols award 1, 2, or 5 extra rounds for landing 3, 4, or 5 matching symbols respectively.

![Screen Recording 2026-07-01 at 12.53.49.mov.00_01_58_37.Still002.jpg](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/Screen_Recording_2026_07_01_at_12_53_49_mov_00_01_58_37_Still002_c92714456f.jpg)

**Bonus Spins**

Watch the shop floor grow. Cracking open 3, 4, or 5 Fruit Bonus symbols physically expands your entire play area and triggers a brand-new game mode:

• 3 Fruit Bonus: Awards **5 Backyard Spins** on a **5x3 grid**.
• 4 Fruit Bonus: Awards **8 Garden Spins** on an expanded **5x4 grid**.
• 5 Fruit Bonus: Awards **10 Orchard Spins** on a maximum **5x5 grid**.

![Screen Recording 2026-07-01 at 12.53.49.mov.00_01_12_17.Still001.jpg](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/Screen_Recording_2026_07_01_at_12_53_49_mov_00_01_12_17_Still001_9577ec44b9.jpg)

If you trigger Bonus Spins while a Re-Spin is already active, the game moves straight into the bonus, converting those remaining Re-Spins into extra spins and valuable steps on the **Flavor Meter**! Plus, any fruit win during the bonus rounds keeps extending your playtime with even more extra spins.

![Screen Recording 2026-07-01 at 13.10.59.mov.00_02_33_45.Still008.jpg](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/Screen_Recording_2026_07_01_at_13_10_59_mov_00_02_33_45_Still008_d5c99a356b.jpg)

**Jumper Wilds**

Want to accelerate your way to the top of the meter? Keep an eye out for the Jumper Wild. Appearing exclusively in Bonus Spins, **this symbol lands with a value of 5, 7, 10, or 15 jumps**. When it helps form a win, it catapults you straight down the Flavor Meter by that exact number of steps, unlocking multipliers and bonuses instantly.

 ![Screen Recording 2026-07-01 at 13.10.59.mov.00_00_54_02.Still002.jpg](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/Screen_Recording_2026_07_01_at_13_10_59_mov_00_00_54_02_Still002_8159c79657.jpg)

**The Flavor Meter**

The absolute biggest upgrade here is bursting with flavor! The Flavor Meter is an active conveyor belt that triggers during Re-Spins and Bonus Spins, turning everyday wins into massive milestone moments. Every winning combination pushes you further along the **36-step meter**, unlocking premium mechanics like **Sticky Wilds** that lock down for the rest of your Bonus Spins, **Extra Rows** that expand your play area, **Activated Fruit multipliers**, and instant **Mystery Drop** cash prizes worth up to x40 your bet. Most importantly, it triggers game-changing **Upgrades** that permanently transform your low-win "10" symbols into top-tier, high-paying Cherries until the end of the feature!

![fruit_shop_grand_re-opening_screenshot_6.jpg](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/fruit_shop_grand_re_opening_screenshot_6_9a28ffba7d.jpg)

**Elevate Feature**

Can't wait for the grand opening ribbon-cutting ceremony? Go straight to the head of the line by selecting one of the Elevate options:

• **Bonus Hunt**: Guarantees at least one Fruit Bonus symbol on the reels for 2x the bet.
• **Fruit Win**: Lock in a guaranteed winning combination of fruit symbols for 10x the bet.

NetEnt Q&A with Fruity Slots - Uliana & Matt

# NetEnt spends a night at the museum in In and Out

Luxury has a price, but Chloé prefers to be sneaky about it.

Born into privilege and draped in the world’s rarest treasures, she doesn’t steal out of need, she steals for the rush. Velvet ropes, silent alarms, watchful eyes… none of it slows her down. Inspired by legendary heists, Chloé moves like a shadow through forbidden halls, claiming what was never hers, because in her world, everything is.

[In and Out](https://netent.com/games/in-and-out) from [NetEnt](netent.com) gives us unrestricted access to a museum filled with priceless pieces. Set on a **6x5 grid that can grow all the way to an 8x7**, and a Heist Mode that adds an extra layer with tools that bring it to the next level, Chloé carries out a heist that’s sure to hit tomorrow’s headlines.

## ![in_and_out_outnow_1920x1080_2026_01 (1).png](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/in_and_out_outnow_1920x1080_2026_01_1_69a8d920d2.png)

## Avalanche Feature

Once she gets started, there’s nothing stopping her from taking the whole lot with her. Any win starts an **Avalanche™ where winning symbols disappear and get replaced by new symbols and a highlighted area**.

![Screen Recording 2026-04-21 at 16.42.45.mov.00_05_16_30.Still003.jpg](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/Screen_Recording_2026_04_21_at_16_42_45_mov_00_05_16_30_Still003_73f35de253.jpg)
Every win on the same position upgrades the highlighted area starting from **Bronze**, and moving up to **Silver, Gold,** and **Diamond**.

## Heist Mode

Now that we’re in, it’s time to get to the coin they hide in the vault. When Chloé lands during a round with a win she jumps straight into Heist Mode. Every highlighted position spins individually and only Coin, Diamond, Bonus, or Multiplier symbols can land. **Diamonds** can only appear in diamond tier highlights with random multipliers of x50, x100, x200 or x1,000.

Coins can land on bronze, silver, or gold highlighted areas with random multiplier values:

• **Bronze Coins**: x0.5, x1, x1.5, or x2

• **Silver Coins**: x4, x6, x8, or x10

• **Gold Coins**: x15, x20, x25, or x30

![in_and_out_heist_2.jpg](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/in_and_out_heist_2_b4e72d3e78.jpg)

Bonus symbols can also land on bronze, silver, or gold highlighted areas:

• **The Multiplier**: appears with a random value between x2-x10 and multiplies values on all coins, diamonds and collectors on the grid

• **The Upgrader**: upgrades all positions directly adjacent to it to the next tier, including adding a bronze tier to previously non-highlighted spots

• **The Burst**: upgrades a random number of un-highlighted position to the same highlight tier of the symbol; can also grow the grid by affecting spots outside of the play area

• **The Extra Life**: awards another spin in Heist Mode

• **The Collector**: gathers the value of all coins, diamonds and other collectors on the grid, leaving space for more symbols to fall and grow the total win

The **Heist Mode starts with 3 lives** and can only be increased when an Extra Life lands. If the Collector and Burst land together it creates a **Blast which combines the effect of the 2 and automatically fills all newly created highlighted spots**.

![in_and_out_screenshot_heist.jpg](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/in_and_out_screenshot_heist_25ebe000f0.jpg)

## Expanding Reels

Looks like we need to resort to extreme measures to crack this open! When a Bomb lands on the reel it explodes and **removes all symbols directly next to it** making room for an avalanche and creating highlighted spots.

![Screen Recording 2026-04-21 at 16.42.45.mov.00_01_50_42.Still009.jpg](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/Screen_Recording_2026_04_21_at_16_42_45_mov_00_01_50_42_Still009_3e6aa6c821.jpg)

If it lands at the edge of the grid, it can **grow the play area** to a maximum of **8x7**.

## Free Spins

Don’t set off the alarms, that’s when the lasers come on! When **3 Bonus symbols** land, and all avalanches are ready, **Free Spins start with 5 Spins**. Free Spins have the same mechanics as the base games with 1 and 2 Bonus symbols landing in Free Spins awarding an additional 1 and 2 Spins respectively.

![in_and_out_bonus.jpg](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/in_and_out_bonus_2e1bedb363.jpg)

**Super Free Spins** is activated when one of the bonus symbols is a **Super Bonus**. Each Super Bonus adds an extra spin to Free Spins and **start the spins with a maximum grid size**.

## Wild Symbols

Don’t know who did it? No worries, Chloê left her calling card.
![in_and_out_wild.jpg](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/in_and_out_wild_f3b5be3e4a.jpg)
Wilds can appear anywhere on the reels and substitute for all paying symbols.

## Elevate Feature

Not willing to crack the safe quietly? No worries, you can go in by crane by choosing of the Elevate features:

• **Bonus Hunt**: increase the chance of activating Free Spins for 2 times the bet.

• **Guaranteed Chloé**: Chloé appears in each spin, increasing the chance of Heist Mode, for 10 times the bet.

• **Heist Mode – ON**: Heist Mode is activated with 3 positions of bronze tier highlighted area, for 30 times the bet.

• **Free Spins**: 3 Bonus symbols land on the reels and activate Free Spins, for 100 times the bet.

• **Super Free Spins**: 3 Bonus symbols land on the reels and activate Super Free Spins, for 100 times the bet.

![Screen Recording 2026-04-21 at 16.42.45.mov.00_04_06_17.Still011.jpg](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/Screen_Recording_2026_04_21_at_16_42_45_mov_00_04_06_17_Still011_2ebbe83064.jpg)
## The Great Heist

This is a score that will be go down in legend. Chloé’s leaving this museum with new pieces for her collection, and a fame that will have everyone in Paris looking for her.

In and Out – NOW LIVE!

# NetEnt is casting a spell with What’s Up? Witches

Between acing exams and crushing demons, the average Tuesday is a total nightmare.

The Great Darkness is creeping out from the shadows, threatening to consume everything in its path. Most people are completely unaware of the danger, but Sage, Isadora, and Sabrina see it clearly. This trio of modern witches must channel their legendary, chaotic powers to push back the dark and reclaim the night.

Mystery, magic, and a touch of chaos come together in [What’s Up? Witches](https://netent.com/games/what-s-up-witches), where powerful spells and hidden forces shape every single moment on the reels. [NetEnt](https://netent.com/) brings a spellbinding new energy to this urban battlefield, packing the game with volatile magic, explosive chain reaction features, and massive win potential across a dynamic grid built for legendary payouts.

![whats_up_witches_outnow_1920x1080_2026_01.png](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/whats_up_witches_outnow_1920x1080_2026_01_bb080a37a4.png)

## Grimoires & Arcane Spells
The path to saving the city is paved in ancient incantations, with mystical spells scattered across these reels. At the heart of the game sits the Arcane Feature, introducing nine spells that can appear during gameplay.

![whats_up_witches_desktop_screenshot_3.jpg](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/whats_up_witches_desktop_screenshot_3_b7f7089aa5.jpg)

When a **Grimoire** symbol lands on the **horizontal reel**, the true magic begins. A standard Grimoire **activates any spell directly adjacent** to its position, **triggering a chain of wilds** based on that specific spell book pattern. There are **nine spell directions**, shooting across horizontal, vertical, or diagonal lines to transform normal symbols into Wilds.

If you summon the **Super Grimoire, every single spell on the reels activates simultaneously**, regardless of where it sits, creating powerful combinations that fill the reels with wilds.

## Free Spins & The Magic Orb

To truly push back the Great Darkness, you must unleash the witches' full potential. **Landing 4 or 5 Scatter symbols anywhere on the reels triggers 10 or 15 Free Spins respectively**.

![whats_up_witches_desktop_screenshot_7.jpg](https://fan-cdn.nolimitcity.com/whats_up_witches_desktop_screenshot_7_4d13b6d58c.jpg)

During Free Spins, the game shifts to a dedicated **5x5 grid** populated exclusively by Multiplier symbols and blank spaces. The stakes grow as **multipliers ranging from x1 all the way up to x100** crash onto the reels and lock in place.

But the coven has one more trick up their sleeve: The Magic Orb. **The Magic Orb feature has nine features: Doubler, Collector, Upgrader, Compressor, Adder, Generator, Convertor, Sweeper, and +3 Spins**, where one of them can be randomly activated during each spin in Free Spins to push the grid in your favour. The Free Spins continue until your rounds run out, combining all your accumulated locked multipliers into one legendary city saving moment.

## Elevate Feature

Step straight into the heart of the ritual. The Elevate Feature bypasses the waiting game and drops you directly into the action:

• **Bonus Hunt:** You can significantly increase your chances of naturally activating Free Spins for 3 times the bet.

• **Arcane:** Skip the setup and activate the core Arcane feature directly on the grid for 10 times the bet.

• **Free Spins:** Activate the standard Free Spins round immediately without needing any main game wins for 100 times the bet

• **Arcane + Free Spins:** First activate the thrilling Arcane feature, followed by 4 or 5 Scatters hitting the reels to unlock 10 or 15 Free Spins for 300 times the bet.

• **Arcane + Free Spins Maximum:** Unleash the maximum capabilities of the coven by activating the Arcane feature and instantly triggering 15 Free Spins for 500 times the bet.

## The Great Darkness Awaits

The grimoires are open. The magic is flowing. What’s Up? Witches that are going to save the day!

NetEnt is casting a spell with What’s Up? Witches

whats_up_witches_playin_article_banner_2026_01.png

What's Up? Witches - NOW LIVE!

Four fighters, four cans, four powers unleashed. One very bad idea.

One swig turns El Fuego into a masked menace, sending folding chairs flying, while El Loco goes literally loco, climbing the ropes and launching himself into the ring. El Rayo hits overdrive and starts tossing masked luchadores around like piñatas, while El Tigre tears through the ropes and turns the whole lucha libre ring into his jungle.

This isn’t a fight... it’s a Mexican Standoff.

The multiplier starts at x1 and doubles each time a Luchador visits and collects a symbol, reaching x2 on the first visit and increasing up to a maximum of x4096.

Multiplier

The Random Multiplier feature may trigger at the beginning of each spin and is guaranteed to trigger every time the Hype Meter is filled. When the Random Multiplier feature occurs, it increases the multiplier values on a random number of squares by one step, up to the multiplier cap, and expands the play area.

Random Multiplier

Any win starts an Avalanche™. Symbols in winning combinations disappear, leaving space for a new Avalanche of symbols. After all positions are filled, the wins are evaluated again. Avalanches continue until there are no more wins.

Avalanche

Wild Symbols can be collected by all Luchadores in the same movement.

Wild

The Hype Meter is present outside of the Play Area at all times and every collected symbol contributes in filling it up. When the Hype Meter is full, it will store one activation. The Hype Meter may be filled up multiple times, storing multiple activations. Activations trigger one at a time. When symbol collection is over, the Hype Meter activates, removing all symbols and characters from the play area, making space for an Avalanche, triggering the Random Multiplier feature and potentially expanding the play area.

Hype Meter

The play area may be expanded to 7x7 and 8x8 by activating the Hype Meter feature or Random Multiplier feature. Once the play area has reached the maximum size of 8x8, it may not be expanded further, but all the other effects of the Hype Meter or Random Multiplier feature still occur. In main game, the Expanded Reels reset in between Spins. In Free Spins and Super Free Spins the Expanded Reels persist in between Spins. When the game enters Free Spins and Super Free Spins, the Expanded Reels are carried over.

Expanding Reels

The Grid Clearer Roomba symbol activates when picked up by Luchadores and no additional avalanche or movement occurs. When activated, it removes low-pay symbols and Luchadores in a 90 degrees angle area with itself as the origin, making space for an Avalanche.

Grid Cleaner Roomba

The Symbol Converter Battery activates when picked up by Luchadores and before any additional movement occurs. When activated, it converts all symbols on the same row or reel to match the colour of the Luchador that picked it up. Any affected symbol that was already on the path of another Luchador is instead converted into a Wild. If the affected reel or row contains another Luchador, the effect is replicated on that Luchador, matching their colour instead. This effect can chain further but each Luchador may only be affected once.

Symbol Converter Battery

Two Multiplier Doubler Chair symbols can appear on the play area, the Small Multiplier Doubler Chair and the Big Multiplier Doubler Chair. Multiplier Doubler Chair symbols activate when picked up by Luchadores and before any subsequent movement occurs. When the Small Multiplier Doubler Chair is activated, it doubles all multiplier values in a 3x3 square centered around the symbol. All positions in that 3x3 square without a multiplier will receive a x2 multiplier instead. When the Big Multiplier Doubler Chair is activated, it doubles all multiplier values on the entire play area. All positions on the play without a multiplier will receive a x2 multiplier instead.

Multiplier Doubler Chair

One Luchador is thrown to another position, where it resumes moving and collecting symbols.

Brawl

Two Luchadores combine, moving and collecting symbols together. If there is no additional movement, they separate.

Tag Team

One Luchador is removed along with matching-colour symbols, creating space for an Avalanche. If there is a win, they may reappear with their matching symbol.

Character Removal

A Luchador ending in a corner jumps towards a cluster of matching symbols, doubling the multiplier values around its landing spot before resuming collection.

Corner Jump

A Luchador ending next to the edge, but not in a corner, moves towards another Luchador in the same row, collecting symbols and doubling multipliers along the way. The second Luchador is then thrown to a different position where it may resume moving and collecting symbols.

Edge Rush

In the main game, collecting 3 Bonus Symbols awards 5 Free Spins when all collected wins are evaluated and there is no additional movement or avalanches. A maximum of 3 Bonus Symbols can be collected in the main game. Unlike the main game, in Free Spins the multipliers and Expanded Reels persist between Spins. The Hype Meter also persists between Free Spins. During Free Spins, each Bonus Symbol awards 1 extra Free Spin. Collecting a Super Bonus Symbol upgrades the game mode to Super Free Spins on the following round and awards 1 extra Free Spin. Free Spins and Super Free Spins are played at the same bet as the round that activated them. At the end of Free Spins or Super Free Spins, their total win is added to any wins from the round that activated them, and the game returns to that round.

Free Spins

In the main game, collecting 3 Bonus Symbols, including at least 1 Super Bonus Symbol, awards 5 Super Free Spins. A maximum of 3 Bonus Symbols can be collected in the main game. During Super Free Spins, multipliers, Expanded Reels and the Hype Meter persist between Spins. The Random Multiplier feature is also guaranteed to occur at least once per Spin. During Super Free Spins, each Bonus Symbol or Super Bonus Symbol awards 1 additional Super Free Spin.

Mexican Standoff

Old habits die hard. A rosary in one hand. A pinless grenade in the other. Sinpin’s gang thought robbing the city’s communion boxes would be easy pickings. They were dead wrong. Mentored by Mother Sofia, Sisters Faith, Hope, and Love are breaking out their old training to save their parish. The time for turning the other cheek is over.

Wild symbols substitute for all symbols except for Bonus, Super Bonus and Nun symbols. Wild symbols can overlap Nun symbols without preventing them from activating their corresponding Nun Features.

Wild symbols substitution pays the highest possible winning combination in a bet way according to the Paytable.

Wilds

Special Nun symbols may appear during the main game, Bonus Spins and Super Bonus Spins.

Whenever a Nun symbol lands, it activates its corresponding Nun Feature and may activate a Re-Spin.

Multiple Nun Features can become active during the same round, with each Nun feature activating in sequence.

Before Re-Spins begin, each landed Nun activates its corresponding Nun Feature. Activated Nun features remain active throughout the entire Re-Spin sequence.

Multiple Nun Features can be active at the same time, and their effects combine.

During Re-Spins, additional Nun symbols may land and activate additional Nun features, even if overlapped by Wild symbols.

The Upgrade Nun can also appear during Re-Spins enhancing previously activated Nun Features.

Wins are evaluated after each Re-Spin. The Re-Spin sequence ends when no additional Re-Spins are awarded, after which the game continues according to the current game mode.

Re-Spins

Colossal Nun creates a Colossal Mystery Symbol occupying an area from 2x2 to 4x4 symbols.

The Colossal Mystery Symbol transforms into a regular paying symbol or, if it overlaps a Wild Reel, into a Giant Wild.

Colossal Nun

Wild Reel Nun transforms the entire reel on which it lands into Wild symbols.

If additional Wild Reel Nuns are activated, they transform their respective reels in the same way. If a Wild Reel overlaps a Colossal Mystery Symbol, it becomes a Giant Wild.

Wild Reel Nun

Multiplier Nun awards multipliers to one or more reels. Whenever a winning combination includes reels with active multipliers, the multiplier values on those reels are added together and applied to the win. If multiple Multiplier Nuns are activated, additional multipliers can be added to different reels.

All active reel multipliers are included when calculating the total multiplier for a winning combination. If a Colossal Mystery Symbol occupies multiple reels with active multipliers, the multiplier values on all occupied reels are added together and applied to the win.

Additional Multiplier Nuns may be activated during Re-Spins, Bonus Spins, and Super Bonus Spins. Their multiplier effects combine with previously activated reel multipliers, increasing the total multiplier applied to winning combinations.

Multiplier Nun

Upgrade Nun can appear during the main game, Bonus Spins, and Super Bonus Spins. Instead of activating a new Nun feature, it enhances previously activated Nun
Features.

It can increase the size of the Colossal Mystery Symbol by one level up to its maximum size, double active reel multipliers, or generate 1 – 3 additional Wild Reels if available, allowing Nun Features to become even more powerful.

Upgrade Nun

In the main game, landing 3, 4, 5 or 6 Bonus symbols anywhere on the reels activates 8, 10, 12 or 14 Bonus Spins respectively.

The number of awarded spins depends on the number and combination of Bonus and Super Bonus symbols landed. If one or more of the landed Bonus symbols is a Super Bonus symbol, Super Bonus Spins are awarded instead.

During Bonus Spins, Nun symbols can appear and activate Re-Spins the same way as in the main game. Each newly landed Nun activates its corresponding Nun Feature, and additional Nun symbols may activate further Re-Spins while this sequence is active.

Once a Re-Spin sequence ends, the Bonus Spins feature resumes with the remaining awarded spins. Activated Nun Features are reset after each Bonus Spin.

Unlike in Bonus Spins, activated Nun Features remain active throughout the entire Super Bonus Spins feature. Additional Nun symbols and the Upgrade Nun can continue to enhance activated Nun Features throughout the Super Bonus Spin.

Activated Nun Features are reset only after the Super Bonus Spins feature ends.

Bonus Spins and Super Bonus Spins are played at the same bet as the round that activated them. At the end of Bonus Spins or Super Bonus Spins, their total win is added to any wins from the round that activated them, and the game returns to that round.

Bonus Spins & Super Bonus Spins

For 3 times the bet, it increases the chance of activating special features.

For 25 times the bet, at least one Nun symbol is guaranteed to land, giving a chance to activate Re-Spins.

Guaranteed Nun (Elevate Feature)

For 100 times the bet, 3 or more Bonus symbols land on the reels and activate Bonus Spins. It is also possible to activate Super Bonus Spins.

Bonus Spins (Elevate Feature)

For 300 times the bet, at least 3 or more Bonus symbols land, including one Super Bonus, activating Super Bonus Spins. The game round also includes at least one Nun symbol.

Super Bonus Spins (Elevate Feature)

For 500 times the bet, at least one Nun symbol is guaranteed to land, while greatly increasing the chance of activating Bonus Spins and Super Bonus Spins.

Tour was going pretty well till we found out the next venue was a demon-infested temple.

Turns out no one told them we were playing. They’re pissed. We’re trying to play our set. Drummer might be
possessed.

So now we’re shredding riffs, cracking skulls and trying to find the bloody exit.

Anyway. Demon Beats. Great tour so far.

In the main game, the multipliers x1, x2, x4, x8, x16, x32 are displayed under the reels.

The game starts on the lowest multiplier, and it jumps to its following higher multiplier when there are wins or exploding colossal symbols.

If a spin results in no wins and there are no colossal symbols or Battle symbols on the reels the multiplier goes back to x1.

During Free Spins, the multipliers change into x1, x4, x16, x64, x256, x1024 and they can also be reset to x1 if there are no wins.

The Multiplier activates randomly after the first spin during the main game, and it changes the main game multipliers to the Free Spins ones.

Colossal symbols are 2x2 and can land randomly anywhere on the reels, except on reels with Bonus, Super Bonus, other colossal and Battle symbols.

Colossal symbols that are part of a win combination explode, along with all symbols anywhere on the reels matching the colossal symbol.

If the surface below the colossal symbols is uneven, it will crush the symbols until it is even.

If a spin results in no wins, all colossal symbols and their matching symbols explode. Colossal Wilds also disappear, but regular Wilds remain on the reels along with the symbols that appear the most on the reels.

Colossal Symbols

The Battle feature is activated during the main game, Free Spins or Super Free Spins.

When a Battle symbol lands at the end of a spin that did not result in a win, and there are no colossal symbols on the reels, the Battle feature activates.

During Battle feature, Colossal and Wild symbols land on the reels to cover the
Battle symbol. Once the Battle symbol is fully covered, the feature ends.

Battle Feature

Wild symbols landing on the reels expand covering the entire reel. If there is a colossal symbol on that reel, it becomes a colossal Wild.

If a Wild symbol expands over an already expanded Wild, the Wild symbol that was on the reels shows either a multiplier of x2, x3, x4, x5, x6, x7, x8, x9 or x10.

Wild Symbols

In the main game, landing 3, 4, 5, or 6 Bonus symbols awards 8, 10, 12, or 14
Free Spins. If at least one of the Bonus symbols is a Super Bonus, Super Free Spins is activated.

During both Free Spins and Super Free Spins, colossal, Wilds and Battle symbols can also land at any time.

Landing 3, 4, 5, or 6 Bonus symbols during Free Spins or Super Free Spins awards 3, 4, 5, or 6 additional spins. If Free Spins upgrades to Super Free Spins, 3, 4, 5, or 6 Bonus symbols award 8, 10, 12, or 14 additional spins, respectively.

Free Spins and Super Free Spins are played at the same bet as the round that activated them. At the end of Free Spins or Super Free Spins, their total win is added to any wins from the round that activated them, and the game returns to that round.

Free Spins and Super Free Spins

For 2 times the bet, have a 2x chance to activate Free Spins or Super Free Spins.

For 10 times the bet, have a 7x chance to activate Free Spins or Super Free Spins.

Bonus Hunt Extreme (Elevate Feature)

For 25 times the bet, guaranteed to get the Upgraded Multipliers.

Multiplier Upgrade (Elevate Feature)

For 50 times the bet, guaranteed to get a Battle symbol on the first spin.

Battle Feature (Elevate Feature)

For 100 times the bet, activate Free Spins.

Free Spins (Elevate Feature)

For 300 times the bet, activate Super Free Spins.

Gameplay

Wild symbols can land on the reels in the main game on reels 2, 3, 4, and 5. Wilds cannot land on reels that have a Wild.
Wilds have different stack sizes dependent on the Wild Level. Wilds can appear as a single Wild or a stack of 2, 3, 4 and 5 Wilds high.

Wilds that appear during Re-Spins are higher level and have a larger stack than the previous Wild, including the Wild that activated Re-Spins.
Until the maximum stack size is reached. Wild stacks can land fully or partly on the reels.
Re-Spins end when there are no Wilds left on the reels. Wild symbols substitute for all symbols except for the Bonus symbols and the Super Bonus symbol.
Wild symbol substitution pays the longest possible winning combination on a bet line, according to the Paytable.
At the end of Re-Spins, the total win from Re-Spins is added to any wins from the round that activated Re-Spins. Re-Spins are played at the same bet as the round that activated Re-Spins.

Walking Wild Re-Spins

Mystery Wilds are activated randomly at the start of the initial spin.
During Mystery Wilds a random Wild level between 2 and 5 is selected and Wilds may land on the reels.

Mystery Wilds

During Bonus Spins Golden Bean Coins, Walking Rockets, Battery Upgrade, HODL Collector, Stocks Sharer, and Card Spreader symbols can appear.
At the start of Bonus Spins, 3 Golden Bean Coins appear anywhere on the reels, with multipliers value of 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x, and 10x.

Bonus Spins

Walking Rockets land fully or partly anywhere on the reels except reel 1 and activate Re-Spins. Walking Rockets cannot land on reels that have Walking Rockets. They move one reel to the left until they leave the reels.
Walking Rockets that land or walk on top of a Golden Bean Coin multiply the Golden Bean Coin value by x3.

Walking Rockets (Bonus Spins)

When the Battery Upgrade symbol lands anywhere on the reels, it is collected in the Battery Upgrade Meter. Collecting 3, 6, 9, and 12 Battery Upgrade symbols upgrades the Walking Rockets to be stacks of 2, 3, 4, and 5 symbols high and award a +1 Bonus spin at each stage. Upgrade symbols cannot land in Super Bonus Spins.

Battery Upgrade (Bonus Spins)

Jack and the Beanstalk 2

Jack and the Beanstalk 2 might not match the magic of its predecessor, but it is a fitting sequel that updates a NetEnt classic for a more volatile, feature-hungry crowd.

An hour with GOAT Enterprise is mostly a waiting game with one good reason to sit through it: when a Walking Wild sequence gets going, or the Super Bonus starts feeding itself, this is as entertaining as NetEnt get. The startup gag works because it isn’t decoration. The beans really do grow into a fortune on screen.

After such a radical shift in the theme, we were expecting the mechanics to maintain very little from the original. What they do is maintain nearly everything from the initial setup and add an entirely new bonus round on top of it.
