Tour was going pretty well till we found out the next venue was a demon-infested temple.
Turns out no one told them we were playing. They’re pissed. We’re trying to play our set. Drummer might be possessed. So now we’re shredding riffs, cracking skulls and trying to find the bloody exit.
Anyway. Demon Beats. Great tour so far.
Built on a 5x4 reel layout, Demon Beats brings Avalanches™, Colossal Symbols, expanding Wilds, escalating multipliers and a Battle Feature into one very unfortunate tour stop. With high volatility and a 10,000x max win, the band has plenty to deal with before they can make it out of the temple.
Avalanche™
If there’s another hit, the set continues. Every win triggers an Avalanche™, with winning symbols disappearing and making room for a new Avalanche of symbols. Once the reels are filled again, the new symbols are checked for wins.
No time to stop for a drink. The demons are already waiting.
Colossal Symbols
If something bigger lands, things get messy. These 2x2 symbols can land randomly anywhere on the reels. When a Colossal Symbol forms part of a winning combination, it explodes along with every matching symbol anywhere on the reels. If the surface underneath isn't even, it crushes symbols until it is.
And even when a spin doesn't produce a win, Colossal Symbols and their matching symbols still explode. Colossal Wilds disappear too, while regular Wilds remain alongside the symbols that appear most often on the reels.
Wild Symbols
When a Wild Symbol lands, it takes over the stage and expands to cover the entire reel. If there's a Colossal Symbol on that reel, it becomes a Colossal Wild.
If a Wild expands over an already expanded Wild, the Wild underneath reveals a multiplier of x2, x3, x4, x5, x6, x7, x8, x9 or x10.
Battle Feature
If the demons want a fight, the band gives them one. The Battle Feature can activate during the Main game, Free Spins or Super Free Spins. It kicks in when a Battle Symbol lands at the end of a spin that doesn't result in a win, provided there are no Colossal Symbols on the reels.
Then it's time to settle things.
During the Battle Feature, Colossal and Wild Symbols land on the reels to cover the Battle Symbol. Once the Battle Symbol is completely covered, the feature ends.
Multipliers
If the band keeps the hits coming, the multiplier keeps climbing. The main game starts at x1, with the multiplier moving through x2, x4, x8, x16 and x32 when there are wins or exploding Colossal Symbols.
But lose the beat and the multiplier goes back to x1 if a spin has no wins, Colossal Symbols or Battle Symbols.
Once the band hits Free Spins, things get considerably more chaotic.
The multiplier ladder becomes x1, x4, x16, x64, x256 and x1024.
These can still reset to x1 if there are no wins.
But in Super Free Spins, there's no going backwards. The multipliers move through the same levels, but never reset. Wins and Colossal explosions keep pushing the multiplier onwards.
Free Spins and Super Free Spins
If the band gets a bonus, the set gets longer. Land 3, 4, 5 or 6 Bonus Symbols in the Main game to trigger 8, 10, 12 or 14 Free Spins respectively.
But if at least one of those Bonus Symbols is a Super Bonus, the band skips the regular set and goes straight into Super Free Spins.
Colossal Symbols, Wilds and Battle Symbols can all land during both Free Spins and Super Free Spins.
Land 3, 4, 5 or 6 Bonus Symbols during Free Spins or Super Free Spins and you'll pick up 3, 4, 5 or 6 additional spins.
If Free Spins upgrade to Super Free Spins, those same combinations award 8, 10, 12 or 14 additional spins instead.
Multiplier Upgrade
Sometimes the band gets to skip straight to the good stuff.
The Multiplier Upgrade can activate randomly after the first spin during the main game, changing the main game multipliers to the more powerful Free Spins multiplier set.

Elevate Features
If the band is tired of waiting around for the temple to make the first move, the Elevate Feature lets players activate specific in-game features directly.
The lineup includes:

Find the bloody exit
The band came to the temple to play a gig. The demons weren't exactly thrilled about the booking.
Now there are Avalanches, Colossal Symbols, expanding Wilds, massive multipliers and a Battle Feature standing between the band and the exit. Hopefully they make it out.
