NetEnt games live over GAN’s Simulated Gaming portal in the US
In September, NetEnt signed an agreement with GameAccount Network Plc, GAN, to supply its award-winning games through GAN’s Simulated Gaming platform in the US. The first roll-out has been completed and NetEnt’s games are now live with Empire City Casino in New York, San Manuel Digital in California and Parx Casino in Pennsylvania.
Simulated Gaming does not include real money bets but offers NetEnt the opportunity to reach players and build loyalty prior to potential new state regulations. Simulated Gaming is clearly separated from real money wagering, where players purchase virtual currency used to extend time playing the games online and potential winnings are non-cash.
“I am very pleased to be live with our first set of games over GAN’s Simulated Gaming platform. Our launch means that several land-based casinos in the US will now be able to familiarize their player community with NetEnts online casino games ahead of possible state regulations permitting real money Internet gaming”, says Björn Krantz, Managing Director of NetEnt Americas LLC.
“NetEnt represents best-in-class online casino games, which are expected to strongly appeal to GAN’s widening audience of US casino patrons actively engaged in Simulated Gaming”, says Dermot Smurfit, Chief Executive Officer of GameAccount Network Plc.
